We spent the last several months planting and tending to our tender plants. Now that the weather has changed, they visibly grow more each day! This weekend we will begin putting them in the ground.
We will have 15 rows of flowers. Thanks to this gorgeous weather, 6 of them are already planted! We have ranaculus, dahlias, lisianthus, zinnias, cosmos, nigella, calendula , queen anne's lace and bachelor buttons that have already germinated! Walking out to the flower field each day to check on our plants never gets old. It is always such a treat that brings us such astonishment and joy. Isn't amazing that these little seeds, added with warmth from the sun and water, can produce such beauty?!

I appreciate the honesty of your blog. I chuckled when you mentioned that you still have plants on your deck waiting to be planted. I know the feeling all too well.
